Tours

My tour operator offers trips in one of the most out there, remote, culturally exotic and hard-to-access parts of the planet – Arctic Siberia. We have three separate websites you can visit if you think you may be interested in booking a trip with us:

Yamal Peninsula Travel – Trips to join nomadic Nenets reindeer herders on their epic migrations. These nomads dress in traditional reindeer fur clothing sewn using reindeer sinew as thread, live in reindeer-fur teepees, migrate thousands of kilometers every year on hand-carved wooden reindeer sledges and consume the raw meat and warm blood of their animals on a daily basis. Their migrations, with up to 10,000 reindeer, 100 sledges and 50 people creeping across the frozen landscape in a caravan up to 8km long, are truly one of the planet’s most spectacular events.

Travel Yakutia – Trips to Yakutia, a Siberian republic the size of India but with a population of only 900,000 and the coldest inhabited part of the world. Our guests come here to join the nomadic Dolgan reindeer herders on their migrations 1000km north of the Arctic Circle, search for the remains of ancient fauna with mammoth tusk hunters, experience the harsh life of indigenous Yakut horse herders and take on Siberia’s toughest overland trips by driving thousands of kilometers on frozen rivers.

Arctic Russia Travel – Trips to all regions of the Russian Arctic, including the two above. Whether you want to spot polar bears, huge colonies of thousands of basking walrus, muskox, whales, we know where and when it can be done and will happily organise it for you.
